H.L. As I was deeply impressed by the actual output "Winter", I also purchased this album.
Musically, it is not too far away from the progressive rock/metal mixture they play today, but without the intense female vocals it sounds like an album from another band.
But once you swallowed this frog, you will honour the excellent performance on instruments and male vocals and enjoy the dynamic songwriting, which makes "Aetherial" a "growing album", becoming better and better with every new rotation.

Patrick Tow This album keeps drawing me back in for more listens, which for me is the mark of a truly great piece of work. Not only do Oceans of Slumber have chops galore, but they also craft some very memorable, diverse songs here that take you on a thrilling musical journey. This could seriously qualify as one of my favorite albums ever. Favorite track: Great Divide.
